A downdraft table is an industrial ventilation system that captures and filters dust, smoke, fumes, and other airborne particles generated during various manufacturing or fabrication processes. The table consists of a flat surface with small holes or slots allowing air to be drawn down through the surface and into the filtration system below.

Oil mist removal is important in industrial settings such as metalworking, food processing, and oil and gas operations, where machinery generates large amounts of oil mist.  Electrostatic precipitators are used to remove oil mist from the air, and the oil mist particles are separated from the air stream, allowing clean air to be released back into the atmosphere.

Mobile filter units can be moved from room to room or placed in areas where air quality is a concern. They are instrumental in settings where installing a fixed air filtration system is impractical. Some mobile filter units also come equipped with sensors that monitor air quality and can adjust the filtration level as needed.

Stationary filters can be installed in a variety of settings, including commercial buildings, hospitals, laboratories, and manufacturing facilities.  One advantage of stationary filters over mobile units is that they provide continuous air filtration, rather than requiring manual movement from room to room.

Extraction arms are designed to capture and remove fumes and other airborne contaminants at the source. These arms have a flexible hose or pipe attached to a hood or nozzle. The hood or nozzle is positioned near the head of the fumes or contaminants, such as a welding or soldering station.

Based on our research,  we have advised some clients to use diluters to regulate further fume concentration in the workshop's atmosphere when at-source capture hoods, in some circumstances, are not enough.
